Through this slide show I was able to get a clear understanding of the origins of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy. This has given me an insight of how I can improve my own teaching and interaction with student learning.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?
Through the deep dive we were given insights of tools to manage email groups; to recognise the group logo.
Organise groups and share with the groups. The chalk and talk confirmed that the systems that I had in place within google drive were sound thanks to the team in GHS technology. The introduction to the setting up and use of a blog site.
What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
Through completing this set of exercises we were able to gain confidence using a variety of tools. How to set up question and answers using comments with existing text.
What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?
By being turned lose in a creative activity I was able to acquire new skills and develop this poster Fire up the Boys

ReplyDeleteHi Alan, It was great to be part of your DFI journey on Day 1. Your poster is a cracker! Once I got the font increased on my laptop to granny size I did enjoy reading the snippets of what resonated with you last week. Keep challenging us and sharing your stories.
